Bio

Alessia Rollo è un’artista visiva nata nel 1982 nel Sud Italia dove vive e lavora.
Dopo aver conseguito la laurea in comunicazione visiva presso l’Università di Perugia, ha completato un master in fotografia creativa presso l’EFTI (Spagna) nel 2009.
I suoi lavori sono incentrati sull’area mediterranea per mettere in luce argomenti rilevanti nella narrazione contemporanea ed analizzare stereotipi sociali e visivi su cui offrire un nuovo punto di vista. I suoi progetti sono spesso orientati ad espandere il senso di comunità attraverso la rielaborazione di storie, memorie e archivi.
Ha esposto in numerose mostre nazionali e internazionali sia personali che collettive e ha svolto residenze artistiche per istituti e fondazioni in diverse parti del mondo.

Alessia Rollo is a visual artist born in 1982 in Southern Italy, where she lives and works.
After graduating in Visual Communication from the University of Perugia, she completed a Masters in Creative Photography at EFTI (Spain) in 2009.
His work focuses on the Mediterranean area to highlight relevant issues in contemporary narratives and to analyse social and visual stereotypes in order to offer a new point of view. His projects often aim to broaden the sense of community through the reworking of stories, memories and archives.
He has exhibited in numerous national and international solo and group exhibitions and has held residencies at institutes and foundations in various parts of the world.
