Bio

Gabriele Galimberti (1977, Arezzo, Italia) è un pluripremiato autore che lavora a progetti di fotografia documentaristica a lungo termine in tutto il mondo, molti dei quali sono diventati libri. Fra questi, Toy Stories, In Her Kitchen, My Couch Is Your Couch e The Heavens. Ha esposto in mostre e festival in tutto il mondo, tra cui Les Rencontres d’Arles (Francia), Festival Images (Vevey, Svizzera) e il Victoria and Albert Museum (Gran Bretagna). Recentemente è diventato fotografo del magazine National Geographic. Gabriele Galimberti è il vincitore del World Press Photo 2021, nella categoria Portraits.

Gabriele Galimberti (1977, Arezzo, Italy) is an award-winning Italian photographer working on long-term documentary photography projects around the world, many of which have become books. These include “Toy Stories”, “In Her Kitchen”, “My Couch Is Your Couch” and “The Heavens”. He has exhibited in shows around the world, including Les Rencontres de Arles (France), Festival Images (Vevey, Switzerland) and the V&A London (Great Britain). Gabriele has recently become a National Geographic photographer and works regularly for this magazine. He is the winner of World Press Photo 2021 in the Portrait category.
