BIOGRAFIA

Pelle Cass (1954, Brooklyn, New York) è un fotografo il cui lavoro è presente nelle collezioni del Fogg Art Museum, del deCordova Museum, del Peabody Essex Museum e del MFA, Houston. Le sue immagini vengono pubblicate su magazine quali Beaux Arts, McSweeney’s, GQ, The New York Times, Die Zeit, The Atlantic, The Economist e molti altri. Ha ricevuto borse di studio dalla comunità di artisti Yaddo, dalla Polaroid Collection e dall’Artist’s Resource Trust. Ha pubblicato la monografia Pelle Cass (Just an Idea) e ha contribuito alla realizzazione dei libri Photoviz (Gestalten), Deleuze and the City (Edinburgh University Press), Langford’s Basic Photography (Focal Press), The Beautiful Sparkle: Optical Illusions in Art (Prestel), ICP Concerned: Global Images for Global Crisis (G Editions). Nel 2024 esporrà in una mostra collettiva al SFMoMA e in una personale che si svolgerà presso la Praise Shadows Art Gallery, Brookline, Massachusetts.
